Fish scales?

What are these? Are these fish scales? Some look like denticles to me, but way too big. I really just don’t know. They may be from Kem Kem. I believe these entire pieces are just like a couple inches at the most, which should give you an idea of the size of the “scales”. If anyone can ID the actual species, that’d be awesome, but I’m actually asking more what they ARE, than what they’re FROM. As always, thank you so much for any help!

Looks like the entire things are singular fish scales with ornamentation. 

Not sure that they can be id'd to species, but someone might be able to id to genus.

Ok, so u mean the entire things being individual fish scales, and the dark lines/bumps being the ornamentation?

Correct. That is what I believe.

I tossed the minimum bid in  for these individually before I went to bed hoping I'd get at least one and noone else bid so I've accidentally won the lot.

Thanks. I'm going to put them all together in one frame. Should be a nice little piece.
