Help with i.d.!

Hello, I was wondering if I could get some help in identifying this petrified wood, if possible?

 

Where:  Saddle Mountain, Washington State

Size:  3.81 cm at the widest

Age:  Miocene, approx 14-15,000,000 yoa

 

I understand that the majority of the wood there is Taxodioxylon sp., but this looks different than the pics I've seen of that.  Any thoughts?
