Could not agree more. You have put in words what I have been thinking with the fossils on the river bars being lost in the next flood it would be nice to be able to salvage the float. I will still get out enjoy the country with an eye towards the geology and associated paleontology to understand what is there.

Yes, 14 foot Kestrel SoT.  Find an access point and head upstream 2, 3, 4 miles

Yes, and keep the pics coming... I'm sure you'll be showing us some even better items that we'll cry over you having to leave there, but at least we can all see them.
