Godofgods
Hi everyone, does anyone know this bone? Maybe a femor of a bovidae? Since it is very big could it be bison? Thanks
dbrake40
Bovine humerus. Large enough for cow/bison for sure. A lot of what could be used to determine Bos Taurus vs. Bison Bison is gone. Here's a couple of links that I use often in this regard: https://archive.org/details/guideidentifica71balk/page/100/mode/2up https://archive.org/details/postcranialskele00olse/page/38/mode/2up
