Tinuviel
Found this the other day in Eastern Ontario and I'm not quite sure what it is. I asked on reddit and someone suggested it could possibly be a crinoid holdfast, but I wanted to get a second opinion just to be sure. Ordovician, about 2.5cm in diameter. Notidanodon
Hmm I’m not sure if this one is a fossil but I wouldn’t take my word for it
Tinuviel
Ah, I hadn't considered that! Is there a reason why you suspect it may not be a fossil?

It definitely either Lindsay, Hull, or Bobcaygeon and I'm leaning more towards Bobcaygeon.

FossilDAWG
It's impossible to be sure from a photo, but the matrix looks more like the kind of brown dolomite I associate with the Oxford or March formations. They can have vugs or masses of dolomite crystals. As I said, though, that's just a WAG from a photo, no substitute for an in-hand examination.
