jnicholes
Found this “piece of snarge” fossil on a fossil trip in Kemmerer Wyoming.. Piece of snarge? Coprolite? It’s a pun, get it? Seriously though, they think it’s either crocodilian or turtle in origin. What do you guys think? Anyway to tell? it’s pretty cool. I’ve got lots of other fossils to share later. jnicholes
Looks like my pun didn’t work out. Somehow the words automatically changed. If I did something wrong, I apologize. I’m looking for a coprolite ID. Any idea what it is?
FossilsandScience
I think that it's a coprolite. I'm not sure the species that it came from, but I would agree with either croc or turtle.
Rockwood
If those are the choices I'll take turtle.
