PaleoOrdo
Could this be a part of a sea lily? It is about 2cm long, surronded by a lot of the stalks of sea lily? or is it a coral? The specimen is preserved in what seems to be a big sponge form ordovicium.
PaleoOrdo
Here is a pic of what seems to be a sponge and a very small pattern in the same stone, maybe a bryozoan.
Tidgy's Dad
The first seems to be part of a solitary rugose horn coral. The second a colonial rugose coral. The third a bryozoan 5 Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.
PaleoOrdo
I agree about the bryozoan, it seems to be a speciemen of the genus Pachydictya, of the class Stenolaemata in the order Cryptostomata. Also agree about the soletary rugose coral. About the second, how do you see it is a colonial rugose coral? Is it the central part of picture 2? I thought about the light brown outer layer on the sides as sponge. Martin
