Hi all,

I wanted to know if Proboscidea incisor is just another name for tusk... I’m considering putting in a bid on everyone’s favorite auction site, but I wanted to make sure it’s tusk.

Sure...

Proboscidea incisor is just another name for tusk ,  same is true for Rhinos, but why  call a "tusk" an incisor...

People are not confused by the word "Tusk".... but they might be by the word "incisor", just like you....

But I guess as long as it looks like this....

They can call it an incisor....
