BellamyBlake
I have a dozen teeth from Aurora, North Carolina that I believe to be from the toothed whale Squalodon. Instead of uploading photos of that many, I'm uploading a few that are representative of the dozen and detailed photographs of three of these. For context, the first tooth here is 2.5" long and 1" wide at its thickest.

BellamyBlake
Tooth 3. Do these appear to be from Squalodon?

The close ups are great, but a scale reference really helps out us armchair operators! We can google the coin dimensions to get dimensions on the specimens. Lots of folks use cubes, but depth of field can skew results. A ruler is great too!

Yeah usually I include a coin for reference, but thought including the dimensions of the first tooth would suffice. I measured the one you asked for and it's 3" long and 1/4" wide at the thickest point if that helps!

In fact showing a coin from any particular country leaves members from all the other countries wondering what the size is. Some coin collectors from outside the U.S. might have the size of a dime or quarter in mind but most do not. It's a lot easier to just provide the measurement in inches and/or millimeters.
