The fossils mentioned as anteater fossils in the news article can't be from a prehistoric anteater because anteater fossils occur only in the Americas and the article by Geraads (2017) doesn't list any folivoran fossils from Denizli. Maybe the news article mislabeled chalicothere fossils as anteater fossils.
