Here's a recent fossil hunt that I recorded, feel free to watch it if you're interested.

There is an added bonus of a sunrise too :D

Great video Liam. I was there today. We managed to walk back along the beach rather than back over the cliff as the tide was low enough.

Thanks Nick, usually i spend too much time to the left and by the time i'm back at the ladders it's coming in. Come to think of it I've never been too far round the right. Did you have any luck today?

Modern surprises on an ancient beach :D I once found a bouncy ball which i kept. My favourite modern find are marbles, i have about 10 sea marbles now.

Have you tried the freeze/thaw method to split the concretions? It looks like it would work on at least some of them.

No i've not. The dactylioceras ammonites are extremely common so i just tap them on the beach. Anything rarer i'll take home and get properly prepared.

A lot of cool ammonites, you were right the person who found that one ammonite should of taken the negative, it would of been a great match
