LiamL
Here's a recent fossil hunt that I recorded, feel free to watch it if you're interested. There is an added bonus of a sunrise too 7 Yorkshire Coast Fossil Hunter
Welsh Wizard
Great video Liam. I was there today. We managed to walk back along the beach rather than back over the cliff as the tide was low enough. Nick
Tidgy's Dad
Loved the sunrise. And the tennis ball, of course! Nice Eleganticeras. 1 Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.

Nick Thanks Nick, usually i spend too much time to the left and by the time i'm back at the ladders it's coming in. Come to think of it I've never been too far round the right. Did you have any luck today? Yorkshire Coast Fossil Hunter

Modern surprises on an ancient beach I once found a bouncy ball which i kept. My favourite modern find are marbles, i have about 10 sea marbles now. 1 Yorkshire Coast Fossil Hunter
Mark Kmiecik
Great video. Thank you. Have you tried the freeze/thaw method to split the concretions? It looks like it would work on at least some of them. 1 Mark. Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!

Anything rarer i'll take home and get properly prepared. Yorkshire Coast Fossil Hunter
Top Trilo
A lot of cool ammonites, you were right the person who found that one ammonite should of taken the negative, it would of been a great match “If fossils are not "boggling" your mind then you are simply not doing it right” -Ken (digit) "No fossil is garbage, it´s just not completely preserved” -Franz (FranzBernhard) "With hammer in hand, the open horizon of time, and dear friends by my side, what can we not accomplish together?" -Kane (Kane) "We are in a way conquering time, reuniting members of a long lost family" -Quincy (Opabinia Blues) "I loved reading the trip reports, I loved the sharing, I loved the educational aspect, I loved the humor. It felt like home. It still does" -Mike (Pagurus) “The best deal I ever got was getting accepted as a member on The Fossil Forum. Not only got an invaluable pool of knowledge, but gained a loving family as well.” -Doren (caldigger) "it really is nice, to visit the oasis that is TFF" -Tim (fossildude19) "Life's Good! -Adam (Tidgy's Dad)
