PungoJoe 5 Posted October 9, 2020 Found several Great White shark teeth in the creek last weekend along with a few makos. . My best find was this Great White (2-1/2") below. It has all serrations and a complete root. Also, found one partial whale inner ear bone (periotic) and one small croc tooth. Sorry, I don’t usually disagree with you, but I don’t see bourlette, the root texture, and the overall shape suggest GW to me, I closer picture of the front of the tooth would help a lot. PungoJoe 5 Posted October 9, 2020 Tim, Thanks for your suggestion that my tooth is a meg. I'm open to your suggestion. The picture I provided isn't the best for identification. This tooth doesn't have a bourlette. The serrations are definitely irregular. Possibly, there are no obvious split serrations because they are quite worn. See attached pictures of the serrations.
