Fossil Digger
Hi, I have three bones today that need your help to ID. They were found on Iowa River's alluvial deposits. Thank you!
ClearLake
The first one (brownish bone) looks like the femur of a deer. The fourth picture looks like a broken scapula perhaps and the second one (the very dark one) is most likely a humerus bone, but I'm having trouble with the details because it is so dark. Fossil Digger
Thanks for the reply! The deer femur bone seems to have been fossilized. I assume that means it is possibly from ancient.

I assume that means it is possibly from ancient. It looks old but not quite fossilized. Doesn't quite have that fossil look yet. Could be Ice age.
