Pliohippus horse tooth

This tooth for sale caught my eye and was hoping someone could help ID it.  It was purportedly found in Miocene deposits of Arizona and I _think_ it's a late wear stage cheek tooth of Pliohippus sp.  I do not have measurements at this time.

Thanks for the help!

I have no clue, but those are the most perfect pre and post fossette and protocone I have ever seen. It is unlike anything similar I have seen up here.

What reference did you use to suggest an identification of Pliohippus?

The oldest record of Equini (Mammalia: Equidae) from Mexico is a pdf available on the internet.  One of the photos. "i"  is late stage wear and seems similar to your tooth.

That is the same publication I was looking at and figure "i" was the best fit I've been able to find.
