Crazyhen
This Keichousaurus is interesting in that it got a lot of grainy deposits. Is it due to a decaying body of the Keichousaurus or they are fossilized deposits of organic matter over the body of the Keichousaurus?
FranzBernhard
"And now to something completely different." Thanks for sharing, I have now idea what this is. Did you find something similar mentioned in the literature? If nothing is known (yet), it will require very careful prepping and possibly various kinds of analyses to decipher their real nature and their relationship with the Keich. I have marked some features: So, lets do some brainstorming: - litte concretionary deposits of some kinds - algae / fungi - tiny bivalves .... Crazyhen
I tend to think that they are concretionary deposits. Some pyritized fossils were found there before, perhaps they are pyritized deposits.
Pemphix
I think pyrite or markasite...
daves64
Kind of looks like it exploded before being completely buried or shortly afterwards. 1 Accomplishing the impossible means only that the boss will add it to your regular duties.
