Real triceratops horn?

Recommended Posts

Its a real Ceratopsian brow horn, cannot say it belongs to Triceratops. Missing a portion of the tip.  Lots of poor patch work or repairs visible.  10% seems very light.

Have to wonder how stable is that stand, not what I would recommend on a brow horn.

Great stand! To my eye it would display better, if that gloss was knocked back to a much lower level of "shine."

Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, also are remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so. - Douglas Adams, Last Chance to See

I dunno.  The whole top surface there seems reconstructed, or poorly finished.  The bottom side looks more real, but it is mostly in the shade on this mount.
