Crystallized Dino Bones

Hey! I found some crystallized dinosaur bones and wood and was wondering what makes them crystallize, and if that makes them worth more?

All fossils, are the remains of ancient creatures. The remains have absorbed minerals from the ground in which they were buried after thousands, to millions of years. Sometimes crystallization will occur under the right conditions.

Welcome to the Forum. :)

Just FYI, ... we do not provide valuations of fossils here on the Forum. ;)

Crystalization might make it worth more to someone if it was polished and came out looking nice.

Jewelry makers might like it.
