Real tortoise fossil?

Recommended Posts

I don't think turtles were around the same time as trilobites which makes it a fake. And the tail looks very long for a turtle

This one made laugh out loud.  Totally Fake.  Trilobites died out a long time before turtles evolved.  Sorry you paid half.

I think I've seen this one somewhere on the forum before. Sorry to say but I have to agree this is a complete fake.

Be not ashamed of mistakes and thus make them crimes (Confucius, 551 BC - 479 BC).

This is actually a very well known fake. The turtle itself is a cast of a cast of a cast of a green river specimen, if I remember properly.

Can you get a refund for this?

Looking forward to meeting my fellow Singaporean collectors! Do PM me if you are a Singaporean, or an overseas fossil-collector coming here for a holiday!
