Graptolites & Crinoid holdfast in West Virginia

I enjoyed an autumn drive through the rusty-red-colored oak forests that blanket the scenic mountains of northeast West Virginia.

Two inactive quarries enticed me to prospect a bit.

In the first quarry of Ordovician age shaly limestone was this graptolites plate .... perhaps Climacograptus?

In the second quarry of early Devonian age massive limestone was this crinoid column base with the attached holdfast.

Both specimen photos are as found.

Lovely photos and fossils.:)

I think Climacograptus is a good possibility and that the crinoid holdfast is lovely.
