Coral (likely modern)

I found this piece of coral a long time ago some where on the southern us Atlantic coast probably South Carolina. I’m guessing it’s modern but I would still like to know what kind of coral it is, it’s also fluorescent especially the bottom

I also have this piece, probably same location and age but looks like a different kind of coral, is this one identifiable?

I found this image online, that's a bit larger than mine but looks to be the same species, and they are selling it as fossil decoration. Does that mean mine are fossils, they just look bleached not fossilized. Unfortunately the one for sale doesn't state a species or genus.

Actually it says star coral but searches have shown a large diversity in them so I hope to narrow it down more, and then the second one, im unsure if there is enough to tell anything. I know there's a few coral experts out there but I know I don't have too much information on them. Edit: The corals not the experts ;)

I think I may have found it, http://www.coralsoftheworld.org/species_factsheets/species_factsheet_summary/oculina-varicosa/  at least the genus that goes from page 602-606 on the website
