This historical image by Charles R Knight  is not a factually accurate dinosaur restoration and could be appropriate to illustrate obsolete paleontological views. For this reason I feel vintage images of prehistoric creatures beguiling. Some of you may have noticed that one of my “welcome messages was a homage to Charles R Knight.

Not Edmontosaurus but a vertebra from Iguanodon from Isle Of Wight in our collection

Very nice, Iguanodon are fantastic too and a Ornithopoda . Have you been to Museum of Natural Sciences in Brussels the Iguanodon displays like above your vertebra are somewhat now misguided but very stunning. Thanks for adding to my thread.

@Bobby Rico Now I am starting to doubt whether Iguanodons are actually hadrosaurs or a sistergroup.  I apologize if not

They are classified as a sister group.

A little diversion from the tile but I enjoyed seeing your post and it reminded me of Brussels so that was nice. Cheers Bobby

I never thought much about hadrosaurs--they were just T-Rex food to me. Until I started reading more about them and how different and varied they are. So many different shapes, sizes, crests etc. They're a cool bunch of critters.
