Oyster or rock?

Probably just another rock but sure has the shape of an oyster, in my opinion. Thought I’d ask....thanks for your help.

Folks who have collected eurypterids at Ridgemount quarry can probably feel the pick axe handle vibrate just looking at it.

If you are in Ohio you really ought to look up the dry dredgers fossil club.  They have fossil hunting trips and a wealth  of info on local sites and what you will find at these public sites

I’d love to follow the dry dredgers however I believe they are based out of Cincinnati and I’m located about 4 hours north of them. They are in a great fossil area!!!!! I hope to go there one day and spend some time in that area.
