JLittlejohn
Found this over the weekend at Caspersen Beach. Grabbed my attention immediately with the beautiful color and design. Not sure that any fossils stood out, but maybe I'm looking at it wrong or just focusing on the wrong areas.
hemipristis
Curious. The rock looks like it's a coquina (a rock composed mostly or entirely of shell fragments), and the larger pieces perhaps clam fragments, but I can't be sure. I also wonder if this "coquina" couldn't be anthropogenic. The Spanish made a coquina-like "concrete" way back when. 2 'Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.' The Romans had a term for it, but only an archaeologist could spell it. Opus Signinum
