Ruger9a
Good evening folks. I just received a fish fossil from the Cretaceous period of Madagascar that is just listed as a "bony fish". Can anyone put a name to it?

Guns
To me it look a bit like Parasemionotus from the Triassic of Madagascar. But I could be wrong. cheer Guns

Fossildude19
This one only has one fin preserved, unfortunately. Also, the skull isn't very well preserved either. This inhibits the ID process. More likely that it is Pteronisculus, as it appears to have a narrower body. 3 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks."
