Rubykicks
This is around a quarter of an inch in length. Not big at all. Found in a river near Oxford Ohio while camping. At some angles it almost looks like a little fish, but I doubt that. Is it coral?
digit
I can see just a bit of detail but the images are really too blurry to make out much. Taking photos of small things can be tricky but try again tomorrow out in the bright sunlight which will help your camera to focus well. And welcome to the forum! Cheers. -Ken
ClearLake
As mentioned, we are going to need better pictures to really help you much. The rocks around Oxford are Ordovician in age and it is possible we are seeing a crinoid stem in your rock, but coral is possible also. Always good to see something from Oxford, I spent four good years there a few decades ago.
Rubykicks
Thanks guys! I will get some better pictures in the sunlight tomorrow, but I believe you're right. And I camp out there every summer and my family can't keep me away from the river.
