Now to the fossil:

Sure this is pliocene?

It could be some kind of rudist. Googling for Rudist Jordan yields many results, these would be of Upper Cretaceous age. There are many different types of rudists in your area. Your specimen looks somewhat like an accumulation of molds of caprinid rudists. But not totally sure, could also be radiolitid (upper right) or hippuritid (lower right) rudists.

I'm with @FranzBernhard,

 

should be Rudists. For information about the regions geology I would emphasise a book of valued colleagues (pdf), who were very friendly and helpfull during times I have worked in Jordan and countries around... or, more recent and detailed the book of Klaus Bandel, one of the Middle-East-experienced Geologists I know in Germany (compare p. 163, Fig. 97a).
