Arizona hunting trip? (Or Southern California)

Hi all. I will be in central Arizona from Christmas to beginning of February and am wondering if anyone would be interested is a bit of fossil hunting? Would be willing to hit anywhere within a day's drive of Phoenix. Trilobites are my favorite but not afraid to dig for anything  Only place I've done in Arizona is near Payson. My biggest limitation is vehicular, only car I have there is a mustang so getting off road is by foot. I am going to look up the current Latham shale (California) access for 1 spot.
