lil help with identifying what I found?

I find that lots of people are clueless in what fossils look like.  I like Tim's suggestion to go to a museum and see what they look like.

Different animals have different numbers of foot bones. Humans have 26 in each foot. Many animals have less than 10. And there are many in between. Which specific foot bones are you seeing? How many are there? How many toes does it have? Extant horses have one toe, deer have two, some fossil horses have three, frog and whale front legs have four, humans have five, some lemurs have six, . . . . so, what animal do you think it is?
