A helper from Harry on Sus Scrofa AND a photo of a Peccary p4 from PrehistoricFlorida . Which is this fossil and how differentiated ? Thanks Here is the 2nd.. Looks like a jaw. Maxilla ? Alveoli? Dolphin ? Is this my imagination? Just a rock? I did get out on the river yesterday and had a number of small finds, nothing outstanding. A couple of nice tortoise/turtle leg spurs, a partial meg, assorted small shark teeth. I can stand in waist deep water and dig the (I think new ) top layer but as I dig down I am quickly in chest deep water. So I think I am finding smaller stuff that has rolled in during wet season. Yes, I chose 5 mm for yesterday and was occasionally cold, as it was overcast with a slight breeze. About 2pm , the glorious , glorious sun appeared from behind the clouds and I basked in the warmth!!!
