Vnaz50
I have about two buckets of fossils that I collected from yard in the past month. Here is a picture of some items I cleaned up today. Any assistance is appreciated. One that I want to get to this weekend. Gotta wait and have my son help me move it. Tidgy's Dad
I can't see any fossils in these photos, I'm afraid. Close-ups of some of the better ones might help. 1 Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.
Fossildude19
I see chert and limestone. No fossils, though. 1 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." JohnJ
@Vnaz50 For future reference, you can add photos (preferred) in any replies to your topic rather than swap out photos in an edit. Vnaz50
This stuff smells like old nasty seawater when cleaning it also.
ScottBlooded
Seems like what these guys have said (bits of weathered limestone, etc) except maybe this guy? Might be a shell of some sort, could do with a close up shot of the highlighted area
Vnaz50
I was also looking at the discoloration in the bottom right corner. It looks like the makeup changes. 5 minutes ago, ScottBlooded said: Seems like what these guys have said (bits of weathered limestone, etc) except maybe this guy? Sorry not entirely sure I understand, discoloration in the bottom right corner of the rock? The whole rock looks more or less to be made of the same material and the same color, but it’d be easier to say with a closer picture

Thomas.Dodson
Welcome to the forum. Based on the new photo that just looks like break marks/weathering on another piece of limestone.
