Some Kind Of Scute

I came across this scute in Colorado, b ut I can't tell if it is turtle, croc or something else.  It was thin and brittle and had to be glued. Just under 2 inches long.  Any opinion is appreciated.

Photos of the other side and the edge would be helpful for id.

Thanks for replying.  The scute started out about twice as thick as it is now, and that I recall, had a relatively smooth surface opposite what is shown in the first photo.  That portion essentially disintegrated in my collection bag on the way back to my vehicle.

Looks to me like a Borealosuchus scute.

Because it is so thin I would lean towards something like a soft-shelled turtle bone. Sometimes a general location can help to pin down a formation/age as well ...

Cheers,
