A firend of me sent me this pic of cobble stone he picked up on the seashore. The only thing I could tell are the gastropods. What else are there?

Possible ID and age?

What beach might they be from?

 

They look similar to the Miocene Pliocene Merced Formation sandstone with gastropods and clams from the San Francisco area.
