PrehistoricWonders
Hey! does anyone have any advice for a beginner on how to get decent serrations while restoring megs?
ParkerPaleo
Mold a good tooth with serrations, pour the cast but only of the serration edge. Trim whatever parts from the cast you don't need, restore the recipient with the serration edge you cast. I have tried to 'hand craft' serrations and it just never worked for me. I have always needed a 'donation' cast to use as a base. You can use alginate casting to produce a quick donor if you do not have a more sophisticated lab/molding facility. Dealing with bubbles in the molds/casts will be your largest problem regardless of the molding solution you find.

There are rarely any questions asked here that have not been asked before - so you should always search the Forum. The answers are usually easily found this way. 2 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks."
