A shark tooth not asking for genus ID just want to know what shark it’s from

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by the type of ID you want but it looks like one of the large Carcharhinus sp., commonly called requiem sharks. It's probably C. leucas or C. obscurus, the bull shark and dusky shark respectively. They're both similar and the differences are based on the foramen location and the regularity of serration size but I'd guess dusky shark on yours. Some are more common in specific locations so locality information might help.

+1 for Carcharhinus sp.

 

...but if you are not asking for the genus ID, perhaps the family name of carcharhinidae is more pleasing to you. :heartylaugh:
