Indonesian Shark Tooth

Hi everyone,

I have here a 1" tooth identified as a Megalodon from West Java, Indonesia, allegedly a new creek locality. I know that smaller Megs may not necessarily have bourlettes, but there do not appear to be serrations. This could probably be explained by river wear.

In any case, might this be a Meg, or could it be something else?

Best,

Bellamy

Looks like a small posterior meg. Appears to have barely visible worn serrations in the first pic.

Yeah .. I agree with Dave .. you can see the vestiges of serrations on a posterior.
