Recommended Posts

These Crinoids were found on a small cape, in Bali (GREECE).I know what species of Crinoids lived in that place, but I didn' found images of all those species to identify them.

Species of Crinoids:

Apographiocrinus nodosus

Pindaxocrinus granulosus

Moapacrinus sp.

Protencrinus baliensis

Synbathocrinus cretensis

Artichthyocrinus koenigi

Age; Asselian

Can you help me identify them if it's posible?

Thank you.

The first couple of pictures seem to show fenestellid bryozoans, not crinoids.

Not sure you'll be able to identify the species of crinoids from the bits shown in the other piccies.

Not enough detail on the crinoid bits for ID, in my opinion.

I agree with Adam that the first few pics are of a bryozoan.

3/4 shows crinoid bits, pluricolumnals and two samples that may be not part of a crinoid column, but part of a crinoid  crown.
