Kato
During these crazy times we are living in I am grateful to be able to wander the mountains and lose myself in the variety of things to be found. What a lovely day it was when I found this calamite. I 'felt' there was more than a few inches of calamite to be found in my area despite the relatively poor sedimentary preservation environment. It's my hope to get back to the same locale to see if there is more to be found and added to this specimen. Thank you for the kind comments and votes of support. Glad to have this as part of my tiny collection for now, but I would like to donate it to a museum. I've written a few in-state museums but received no responses.
