Compy
Hello, I m thinking on buying this tooth. According to the seller it is a Coelophysis sp. from the Chinle Formation. Apache County, Arizona. scale is in mm. Can anyone of you confirm the ID for I am not that familiar with Triassic material? Thank you very much in advance! Troodon
The shape of the tooth does not fit with what I've seen with Coelophysis teeth, see attached. They are typically recurved. Tooth may also not be dinosaurian.
DinoFossilsUK
Definitely not Coelophysis. It looks more like a baby Phytosaur tooth to me.
