Yasmin95
Heyy, I have this part of a bone. It looks like the proximal half of a femur? It looks a bit to straight to be a femur of a crocodile, anyone agree? Does anyone know to look in what direction? Measurements: 80x29x21mm Kemkem beds Morocco. LordTrilobite
These types of fragments are very hard to properly identify. I agree that a croc femur probably wouldn't be as straight. I'm not completely sure it's a femur though. The photos are very small and the fossils is very incomplete. I have a bunch of similar pieces but I haven't been able to properly identify any of them. At best I was able to say something like "possible femur" "possible tibia" etc. Olof Moleman AKA Lord Trilobite
jpc
this looks more like a metapodial based on the indentation I see on the end in your last photo.
