The material looks like fish can you get a photo from the area that is at the top of existing photo.

Not seeing fish spine until I see a lot more cleaned away from specimen.

More likely jaw but cant call untill I see more.

I think fish jaw may have gained some momentum. Maybe I'm relying too heavily on an image that was extinct by then though.

I collect fossils all around from Hungary sometimes from germany. From permian to ice age. Not specialized, i collect everything. Im 99% sure its the inner structure not teeth. Plus i can see it with my own eyes.

No need to apologise, I may have not been on this forum for a while, but it's already become apparent that this is a very accepting community! Also, that's impressive English, given the fact that it's not your first language! It certainly is interesting, I'll do some looking into your 'mud turtle' ideas... :D

I agree. This bears some resemblance to a certain skull found in Missouri a while back, but I can’t remember the critter name...one of those primitive “flying sharks”

Your English is very good.  I think you are right.  This is quite likely the edge of a piece of soft-shell.  In most of the early photos the ridges looked thicker than the valleys, but in the one picture that is from a very low angle, the three dimensional texture looks very soft shelled-ish.  

 

Do you find many bones at this site?
