1foolishcaribou
Hi. Found among the huge limestone layer at the Caney River in central Washington County, northeastern Oklahoma. Pennsylvanian. It's a little closer to Kansas than to Tulsa. A few miles east of the Osage Hills (or Rolling Hills of the Osage, depending on the which map).
Darbi
Scale/measurement? This somewhat resemble a bivalve to me. I can see what appears to be growth rings. I'm sure others can identify it far better than me.

pachy-pleuro-whatnot-odon
Couldn't it be a gastropod? Looks like it spirals in on one side of it... 1foolishcaribou
Thank you everyone for your ideas. I just discovered that I hadn't left it at the river last summer like I thought. It's been sitting outside. I'll clean some dirt off, try to take better pictures and upload it again. I do have more questions about it but I'll wait until after the cleanup attempt. Thanks! cngodles
If you do upload new photos, try to add a ruler/scale to it. Could be the anterior end of a gastropod, but I can't tell how large it is. 1 Fossils of Parks Township - Research | Catalog | How-to Make High-Contrast Photos
