Just got this trilobite multi plate I’ve noticed a smaller few areas with pieces I’m curious if there just fragments or a smaller trilobite I know there’s a small blind species of trilobite found with the One kind that’s on this plate thanks

Think the species I’m thinking for the small one is peronopsis I may be wrong and it might just be only one species on this plate

Peronopsis was reassigned to Itagnostus by E. Naimark. This is classic Wheeler shale, so the diminutive trilobite is Itagnostus interstrictus.

See: Naimark, E.B. (2012). Hundred species of the Genus Peronopsis Hawle et Corda, 1847. Paleontological Journal 46 (9): 945–1057

Your images seem to have gone walkabout (at least for me). Can you check to see if they are still there? Sometimes (depending on how you load the images) they appear for the original poster but disappear for the others. We've seen this quirk of the forum software before.

Cheers.

  • Fossildude19 changed the title to Just got this trilobite multiplate...

Try reuploading them. Something possibly went wrong with the software when I edited your second post where you quoted yourself (it is best to just reply to your own posts if adding more information, not quote it with the images).

@digit - I think the reason the OP can see the images is on account of those still being in his browser cache (cuts down site loading time, or something :P ).

@Georgemckenzie -- They show up on this end just fine now. :)

I stand by the ID for the small agnostid as above (Itagnostus interstrictus, not Perenopsis). You likely already know the bigger chaps on the plate are Elrathia kingii.
