badeend
Hello, I bought this leaf from the internet from someone who told be it might be from Canada. I googled is it but I could nt find a great simularity in Cananda. So I showed it a friend and he said it could be a leaf from the Green River Formation. Can anyone confirm this? Or tell me where it could come from? Thanks in advance! “If you can't explain it to a six year old, you don't understand it yourself.”
Rockwood
Looks right to be an acer leaf fossil from the Green River formation. Likely the member exposed at Douglas Pass, CO. 2

jpc
Yeah, it looks very much like the Parachute Creek Member of the Green River Fm at Bonanza (Utah) or Douglas Pass (Colorado). They are the same layer.
