Mainefossils
Fossil forum, I recently found an interesting fossil. I was thinking coral or bryozoan, but was unable to identify it correctly. It is from the Leighton Fm Maine (again), which is Silurian. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here are some pictures of it:

Mainefossils
That's very interesting. I will enjoy looking into that.
Fossildude19
Bryozoan or arthropod, would be my guess. Not aware of cartilage showing up in the Silurian, but I could be wrong. I would go ahead and try to split that further.

pachy-pleuro-whatnot-odon Posted yesterday at 02:53 PM Share Posted yesterday at 02:53 PM Not particularly knowledgable as to bryozoan material, but this does remind me of what I've seen of that...
