insun
Greetings, I have now received some pieces of bone, it should be pieces of bone from the Tyrannosaurus' head ... it should be one individual ... if anyone can confirm or refute it, or even know which part of the skull it is. ..I would be very grateful ... for some pieces, I already have an idea where they fit ... I photographed every piece of bone 5 times ... you can see a part of the surface of the bones at each one .. I just don't know if I'm wrong, so I'd rather ask here, the more erudite ones ... thank you for your time
Troodon
I suggest you email this information to Pete Larsen at the Black Hills Institute to determine if its Trex. He's seen more skulls than most. The COA provided by the seller is a worthless document

pachy-pleuro-whatnot-odon
2 hours ago, Troodon said: The COA provided by the seller is a worthless document Just to explain this statement with a bit more detail: since there's no body or organisation that validates COAs, anyone can create one and include whatever writing they want. Which, conversely, means, there's little value to such a certificate and you should regard them with the same level of trust or mistrust as you would the seller's other statements. COAs also don't improve resale. So, unless they provide any actual useful information pertinent to the pieces you're buying, they are, as said, pretty worthless. They are mainly used as a marketing trick to give the buyer a false sense of security. JohnJ
@insun Please do not post anything that identifies a seller or shows pricing. I have cropped the COA image you posted. jpc
I have worked on a few rexes but I am not an expert. While these are random bits, I see nothing in there that says they are skull bits. They could be vertebra pieces. If the seller wants to defend his IDs, good for him/her, but I would bet on vert frags.
