Sarcosuchus or Suchomimus?

I have here a 1.5" tooth that was sold to me as Sarcosuchus from the Cretaceous of Niger. It's been brought to my attention that this may instead be Suchomimus. After comparing photographs, I believe that Suchomimus is accurate. I'd appreciate more eyes on this. Which one might this be?

Thank you,

Bellamy

Are those serrations we are seeing in that second photo?  If so its Sucho.

Thank you. I can say for sure that there's carina, but if there are serrations they're worn. Really hard to say. Would a carina alone exclude Sarcosuchus?

Well they are not classical serrations more beaded.  See #2 from Hendrickx paper

Thank you. I believe I see hints of those. I'm posting more photographs here, including closeups of the carina. It's really hard to see the 'serrations' on them though. Could you confirm based on these?

The carina needs to be sharper to tell.  Do you have a microscope to look at it?

I don't. I was looking into getting one, and I suppose now would be as good of a time as any. I'll try to get one with a camera to take more detailed pics, and will post those

Checkout USB scopes.  They are inexpensive and will accommodate most of your needs

Amazing how quickly Amazon delivers stuff. I got one. Hopefully these photographs offer a more detailed view of the serrations. If my understanding is do correct, I see beaded serrations.
