There are two spots in my backyard that my dog constantly digs at. Both of them are in different ares of my concrete porch, within about six feet of each other. I strongly suggest you back off any 'preparation' with acids. Actual fossils you find in this kind of limestone typically require mechanical preparation to expose them. 1 Link to post Share on other sites
