NevadaHunter
Hi all, I found this washed out of a sandstone wall at a formation dated to the middle Pliocene in Nevada. Someone suggested I post it here but their hunch was that this is a metapodial to some carnivore. The diameter is 1.7 cm, length is 9.6 cm. Thanks in advance for any ideas! Kiros
Yes looks to me a possible carnivore metapodial, maybe canid, but wait for better identifications.

Mine is 96 mm and incomplete while yours is complete and is 90mm. Both Felidae and Canidae were identified at my site.
