Catahoula Formation...fauna?

Hey guys

I have found an enormous amount of beautiful petrified wood, specifically palm on the catahoula formation in East Texas, which I (think) is Eocene. But I'm wondering if there is more diversity available. I've heard that wood and bones fossilize differently, so is it possible to find bones on the catahoula formation as well? I've never heard of such a thing but I would certainly hope it's possible. Let me know what you think.
